1. What this website uses
This website uses browser localStorage for your privacy choice and, only with your consent, your language. It is similar to cookies, but the information is not automatically sent to a server with each page request.
We load no analytics or marketing cookies, advertising pixels or embedded social media. Fonts and images are hosted on the same website. The reservation form does not load any external booking module.
2. Necessary storage
hemel-privacy-choice stores your decision, its version and an expiry time. It respects your choice without asking again on every page and is used for up to 180 days. This storage is necessary to remember the privacy choice you requested.
3. Optional language preference
hemel-language stores only Dutch, French or English and an expiry time. We read and write this preference only after you select “Remember language”. It expires no later than your privacy choice, after a maximum of 180 days. This information is not shared with third parties.
With “Necessary only”, you can still use the language links, but no language is stored for your next visit.
4. Changing your choice
Use the button below or “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Selecting “Necessary only” removes the saved language immediately. Expired information is removed on your next visit; your browser may physically retain it until then. You can delete it earlier in your browser settings.
5. Hosting and external websites
The live hosting and security layer may separately use strictly necessary technical cookies to deliver the site and prevent abuse. That layer is separate from the optional language preference. External websites such as Google Maps apply their own policies after you open them.
Signing into the private management area uses the necessary session cookie __Host-hemelbeheer for up to 8 hours. It contains a random session identifier, no password, and is cleared on sign-out. The owner can also sign in through the hosting platform. Guests do not need an account.
